dr. Áron Szepesi
Áron Szepesi started his biology studies at the Faculty of Natural Sciences of the University of Szeged in 2005. In 2012, he received his MSc degree in Biology from the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Technology at the University of Debrecen, and in 2016, he received his PhD degree in Biology from Eötvös Lóránd University.
During his studies he gained experience as a laboratory assistant and later as a research biologist at Creative Cell Kft. from 2018, and at the Institute of Enzymology of the Research Center for Natural Sciences of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences, Budapest, between 2013 and 2016. In the latter he also worked as a laboratory manager from 2015 to 2016. His main research interests are molecular biology studies; culture and genetic modification of mammalian cell cultures, later on experiment design, implementation and data analysis.
Since 2016, he has been a research biologist and research associate at Femtonics Kft. / Research Institute of Experimental Medicine. His main research activities include the design and production of viral vectors, the operation of the BSL-2 lab and the molecular biology lab.
Dr. Áron Szepesi’s methodological knowledge and experience cover a broad spectrum from cell culture, molecular biology, immunology, state-of-the-art techniques in microbiology.
His name can be found as first author and co-author in several scientific publications.
